This policy explains how Peeli Patti Mobility ("Peeli Patti", "we") handles information when you use our website and our WhatsApp service to share and accept commercial taxi bookings.

Information we collect

• Account & Contact: Name and mobile / WhatsApp number.
• Identity & Licence (Saarthi via Cashfree): Driving licence number, full name, date of birth, photo, address, licence class, and validity dates retrieved from official registry records upon your consent.
• Vehicle & Registration (Vahan via Cashfree): Vehicle registration number, maker/model, commercial permit, fitness, insurance validity, and pollution certificate details.
• Trip Data: Pickup and drop cities, date, time, vehicle requirement, fare, and trip status milestones.
• Communications: Messages sent to and from our WhatsApp bot for trip coordination.

How we use your information

• To match trip requirements between commercial cab operators.
• To verify driver licences and commercial vehicle registrations via Cashfree (Saarthi & Vahan).
• To send automated trip status milestones (driver assigned, en route, trip started, trip completed).
• To relay coordination messages between lead givers and drivers without exposing personal phone numbers.
• To prevent fraud, ensure passenger safety, and resolve disputes.

Information sharing & privacy guarantee

• We never sell your data.
• Driver Phone Privacy: The driver’s personal phone number is never shared with the lead giver. All coordination happens through automated status updates or masked relay messages via the Peeli Patti WhatsApp bot.
• Service Providers: We share necessary verification parameters with Cashfree Payments India Pvt. Ltd. to query official registry records, and with Meta Cloud API for WhatsApp communication.
• Legal Compliance: We disclose data only when required by applicable Indian law or law enforcement authorities.

Data Retention

• Verification records (DL and RC data) are retained for as long as the document remains valid, or until you deregister your account and request deletion, whichever is earlier.
• Trip history and transactional logs are retained for tax, accounting, and dispute resolution purposes as required by law.

Your choices

You can request access, correction or deletion of your data, and stop messages by replying STOP on WhatsApp.
